Professor Alistair Ulph, vice president of the University of Manchester, visited Tsinghua on April 22. He was welcomed by Tsinghua Vice President Xie Weihe.
During their discussion, Vice President Xie stressed the importance of international cooperation, saying that he hoped more cooperation could be built between Tsinghua and other universities.
The vice presidents also talked about collaboration between the two universities,
After the meeting, an agreement was signed between the University of Manchester and Tsinghua’s School of Economics and Management.
The University of Manchester is one of the largest universities in the United Kingdom.
