Tsinghua was accepted as associate member by the Consortium Linking Universities of Science and Technology for Education and Research (CLUSTER) recently. Tsinghua Vice President Gong Ke attended the meeting of CLUSTER and introduced education and research of Tsinghua at the meeting.
CLUSTER is a network of leading European Universities of Technology; their fundamental missions are advanced research and higher education of engineers, scientists and architects. Their common goal within CLUSTER is the quest towards excellence in the fulfillment of these missions. In order to extend the multicultural aspects of engineering education, CLUSTER decided recently to invite a few top level institutions from outside Europe to join the Consortium as associate members.
