An exhibition showcasing fascinating entries in Tsinghua University's 39th Challenge Cup Technological Innovation Competition was held on April 25, the university’s 110th anniversary.
The exhibition, held both online and offline, highlighted the creativity and entrepreneurship of Tsinghua students.
Fu Zhenbang, Secretary of the Secretariat of the Communist Youth League Central Committee, Li Junhui, Secretary of the Beijing Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League, as well as leaders from Tsinghua University including Chen Xu, Jiang Shengyao, Wang Xiqin, Yang Bin, You Zheng, and Xiang Botao, attended the opening of the exhibition.
The awards ceremony of the 39th Annual Challenge Cup Technological Innovation Competition also took place at the exhibition. A total of 107 prizes were awarded, with six entries winning the top prize. The School of Vehicles and Transportation won the “Challenge Cup” for its outstanding work.
The exhibition showcases Tsinghua undergraduates’ innovative projects covering a wide range of areas, such as information technology, industrial manufacturing, integration of arts and sciences, and environmental improvement.
This year’s event comprehensively demonstrated the scientific and technological innovation achievements of students and enabled an in-depth dialogue between the students and industry professionals.
The Challenge Cup Technological Innovation Competition, a comprehensive technological innovation contest for students, dates back to 1983.
