Professors Liu Yunhao and Li Zhenhua, and PhD students Li Yang and Lin Hao, have received Best Student Paper Award from ACM SIGCOMM, for their work "A Nationwide Study on Cellular Reliability: Measurement, Analysis, and Enhancements”, marking the first time that a research institution in Asia has won this award.
The co-first authors of the award-winning paper are Li Yang, a 2021 PhD student of the School of Information Science and Technology, and Lin Hao, a 2020 PhD student of the school, in Tsinghua University. The co-corresponding authors are Liu Yunhao, a professor at the school, and Li Zhenhua, an associate professor at the school.
Other co-authors include Gong Liangyi, a postdoctoral fellow at Tsinghua University, Xin Xianlong, director of mobile technology at the Xiaomi Corporation - a famous Internet company in China, Qian Feng, an associate professor at the University of Minnesota, and Xu Tianyin, an assistant professor at the University of Illinois.
