The student teams from Tsinghua University won three gold and three bronze awards at the national final of the 8th China International College Students’ “Internet+” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, which was held online recently.
Tsinghua has won the gold awards in the competition for eight consecutive years.
The 8th China International College Students’ “Internet+” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was jointly sponsored by 12 ministries and commissions, including the Ministry of Education and the Chongqing Municipal People’s Government.
A total of 14.5 million people from 4,554 colleges and universities in 108 countries and regions joined the event, submitting 3.4 million projects. The number of participants exceeded 10 million for the first time.
The competition highlights educating people through competition, and daring to imagine and innovate. It stimulates young students’ enthusiasm for innovation and creation, and is an international innovation and entrepreneurship event for co-construction and sharing, and is capable of effective international communication.
