NDRC Sends a Letter of Thanks to SOE

The National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) sent a letter to THU to express their thanks to SOE and the Institute of Nuclear and New Energy Technology (INET) for their support and cooperation in the United Nations Climate Change Conference, Durban 2011.

The Durban Climate Change Conference (DCCC), being the seventeenth session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 17) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and Seventh session of the Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol (CMP 7), was held in Durban, South Africa, from November 28 to December 9, 2011. It brought a breakthrough to the international community's response to climate change. The negotiations progressed smoothly the implementations of the convention and the Kyoto Protocol, the Bali Action Plan, and the Cancun Agreements, which has great significance to the future and national image of China.

Prof. He Jiankun from INET and Prof. Wang Can from SOE joined in the Chinese delegation. They made  suggestions during the negotiations and actively took part in the discussions. Their achievements gained the high praise of the NDRC.
