With eager anticipation for the future, on August 23, 2022, we welcomed the postgraduates of the grade of 2022! Gathering at Tsinghua University, they began a new chapter in their postgraduate life.
Welcome to the School of Environment
In 2022, the School of Environment enrolled 118 full-time postgraduates, including 43 master’s students and 75 doctoral students. Due to the pandemic, 14 students were unable to arrive on time for registration. We look forward to welcoming them to the family of 2022 postgraduates as soon as possible!
Registration site
Early in the morning, volunteer greeters from SOE arrived at the registration site, well-prepared to warmly welcome the new students. Graduate students arrived one after another to complete the registration process, including information verification, medical examination form and IC card claiming, document submission and household registration . The site was orderly the whole time, and the enthusiastic welcome from the volunteers generated a “home-like” feeling inside the new students.
Xi Jingying, School Council Vice Chairman, also visited the registration site. He lauded the volunteers’ preparation work and orderliness of the site, and encouraged new students to strive for excellence during their studies.

Starting today, these new postgraduates will grow together with this century-old institution, embarking on a new chapter in their lives. We look forward to them making persistent contribution to the construction of a beautiful China and the sustainable development of the world!
